How many OST reviews do I have to start off with, okay, so I haven't seen
the film? Well, I haven't. All I can tell you is that there's some pretty
decent gear on here, although there's a real mix of styles. How many albums
do you know where Massive Attack, Neenah Cherry and Patsy Cline share the
bill? Not so many. Craig Armstrong, the new kid on the OST scene, has around
four tracks, with Eagle Eye Cherry and ol' Patsy having the one each.
Obviously, the tracks like Lissa, End Titles, Lissa Montage (all by
Armstrong) are okay in their own right, but it might help seeing the film to
perhaps appreciate the music more? Maybe not. Interesting mix of styles if
nothing else.
