Arrgh, there's nothing like a good theme tune! Music composed by a variety of writers
and played by the City Of Prague Philharmonic, conducted by Nick Raine. All this music
is mainly from theme tunes of 14 Schwarzenegger films. I don't know about you but I'm
so intent on what's happening on the big screen to pay much attention to the music, so
I have found this album particularly fascinating. 20 tracks in 71 minutes, covering
the dramatic Terminator and Predator movies to the lighter music from
Kindergarten Cop and True Lies. There is a four track 'Terminator' suite
and a five track section from the 'Conan' films. The music turns out to be very good
and I also like the chorus on the Conan music, which is the first recording of the 20
minute suite for symphony orchestra and chorus in five sections. The album finishes
off with a rousing piece taken from the finale of Conan. Nice album to have.
