Whilst this is classed as an original soundtrack, you'll find the majority of the
songs are by Aimee Mann! With the exception of 'The Logical Song' and 'Goodbye
Stranger' by Supertramp, and Magnolia by Jon Brion, the rest of the material is given
over to Ms. Mann - nine tracks she's on, and they're not bad at all. Now how much
she's been given for her own, or the influence of the film, mmm! Anyways, songs like
'Driving Sideways', 'One', and 'Deathly' are all standalone songs, althought the
instrumental, 'Nothing Is Good Enough' will probably work better in conext with the
film. The only real trouble you'll have with this album is working out what to file
it under! Is it Aimee Mann, Supertramp, Jon Brion, various or OST. You decide.
