Music from the motion picture, gathering together some fine songs such as
Shawn Colvin's 'Never Saw Blue Like That', Clapton's 'Blue Eyes Blue', and
there's even a real bit of class with track fourteen, Miles Davis' 'It Never
Entered My Mind'. Obviously, a lot of the tracks relate to the 'theme' of the
film. Mind you, I'm guessing here, but all thing to do with marriage, love
and all that sickly stuff is captured well by a variety of artists.
'Maneater', by Hall & Oates, and U2's 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'
as well as 'You Can't Hurry Love' by the Dixie Chicks and 'Where Were You (On
Our Wedding Day?)' by Billy Joel all add several more facets and angles to
the simple concept of marriage. A good selection of songs, hope the film
uses them well!
